I just finished watching an excellent presentation of the spry ajax framework by Ray Camden, an absolute must see for anyone exploring ajax. In any case, during the presentation I noticed Ray using the Firebug firefox extension… I had never seen this before and as soon as the presentation was over I went and installed it….
Its very cool, I wont go into the features, I’ll let you discover that yourself. AlsoI thought I would show my list of firefox extensions that I regularly use. Web Developer A great number of tools esential to any web developer Firebug Install it and check it out - a must for any web developer Colorzilla excellent for picking out colours from a page Dummy Ipsum Good for inserting dummy content into forms, and very handy for copying dummy text into the clipboard for many other uses Foxytunes Multimedia controler - how could we code without music IE Tab Saves having to open up that ‘other’ browser Javascript debugger Again I dont use this too much but can be very handy when dealing with naughty javascript Measureit Dont use this too much but handy for checking dimensions on a page - not sure I need this now with Firebug installed |
